Zwischen einsamen Buchten und eindrucksvollen Gebirgen liegt ein faszinierender Ort an der Costa del Sol liegt Nerja, die touristische Hauptstadt in der Axarquia. Er führt bis zum Burriana-Strand.Auf der anderen Seite des Balcon de Europa finden Sie die ”Iglesia de El Salvador”, eine Kirche im maurisch-barocken Stil aus dem 17. Jahrhundert.

The historic centre , of which the Balcon de Europa is part, was constructed around 1487. Formerly a IX Century Castle, it is now a viewing point above the sea. At the Calahonda gap the Paseo de Carabineros begins, a scenic path winding its way through rocks bordering the Balcon, you will find the XVII Century El Salvador Church, constructed in baroque-mudeja style.
In the old quarter of town, typical small shops offer local craftworks and produce of the area.
